worked with the MAC
MAC couldn't connect to double monitors; used 2 of these to Samsung monitors and it worked today - these were purchased today.

Did not work for my laptop - not compatible
Recently upgraded laptop so needed something to enable additional screen to connect to it. Purchased this thinking it was a cost-effective option. I found that it would not work on my device, yet worked on my husbands laptop (different make/model).
This should have a "may have compatibility issues with some devices" warning within the product specifications.
