This isn't what it looks like.
My 10 year old son was very disappointed in this. I bought him the real bug kit as he's a budding entomologist and loves bugs. According to everything written on the box, and the instructions within, he had to be very careful in excavating the large scorpion on top, as well as the other bugs hidden beneath. While being very careful the scorpion kept breaking no matter what he did. He was very upset and nearly in tears over this. After much time and effort we discovered that the scorpion on top is not the scorpion you are supposed to find. Inside are three very small clear domes with tiny little bugs in them. He was very glad to find these, as he did have something that he could keep and wouldn't break, but it was not clear that this was what he was searching for.
